Job summary

KNAPP North America is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician to provide first-class maintenance support on automated storage and retrieval systems at the Customer’s site. You will apply electrical and mechanical expertise to maximize equipment utilization and reliability.

You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical faults, perform preventive maintenance, calibrate precision automation equipment, and train customer maintenance teams while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related field preferred.
• Experience with electro-mechanical fault diagnosis and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and perform machine calibration.

Responsibilities

• Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance support.
• Respond to emergency calls and become a point of contact for uptime.
• Perform setup and calibration of precision automation equipment.
• Train customer maintenance teams to enable first-time right repairs.
• Maintain safety procedures and proper documentation; communicate progress to customers.
