Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician in the United States to provide electrical and mechanical expertise and join a team focused on maximizing equipment utilization and efficiency.

You will rectify faults, respond to emergency calls on customer sites, perform installation calibrations, train customer maintenance teams, and ensure safe, quality service across automated conveyor and robotics systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3–8 years in maintenance, repair, or industrial engineering roles.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to work on-site in multiple customer facilities across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance support.
• Respond to emergency calls at customer sites.
• Setup and calibration of precision automation equipment.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all tasks.
• Train customer maintenance teams and document work.
• Coordinate with site management and KNAPP Spare Parts team.
