Job summary
KNAPP is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician to deliver on-site maintenance for automated storage and retrieval systems and precision automation equipment at the customer site in Republic, MO. You will provide electrical/mechanical expertise, diagnose faults, and improve equipment utilization while working with a customer-focused team.
The role requires hands-on experience with electro-mechanical repair, PLCs (Siemens preferred), and safety-conscious problem solving.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation or related.
- 0-3 years direct experience repairing electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Experience with 480VAC/240VAC/120VAC, 48VDC/24VDC, VFDs, and PLCs (Siemens preferred).
- Theoretical and operational experience repairing PLC-based machinery and highly automated systems.
Responsibilities
- Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance support.
- Respond to customer emergency calls and ensure timely resolution.
- Setup, calibration and testing of precision automation equipment.
- Train customer maintenance teams as required.
- Maintain clear reports and communicate progress to the customer and KNAPP team.
