Job summary
KNAPP North America is hiring a Resident Maintenance Technician to provide first-class maintenance support for automated storage and retrieval systems at customer sites. You will applyElectrical/Mechanical expertise to maximize equipment utilization, handle electro-mechanical faults, and participate in ongoing process improvements.
The role requires travel up to 10% and strong communication skills to coordinate with on-site management and customer teams.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- 0-3 years repair experience on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with 480V/240V/120V and PLCs (Siemens preferred).
- Strong communication and customer service skills; bilingual preferred.
Responsibilities
- Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance to customers.
- Respond to emergency calls by customer and fix issues efficiently.
- Set up and calibrate precision automation equipment.
- Train customer’s maintenance team as required.
- Maintain safety procedures and site quality standards.
