Job summary
KNAPP Group is seeking a Resident Engineer to provide first-class maintenance support for automated storage and retrieval systems at customer sites in the United States. The role focuses on electro-mechanical fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, calibration of automation equipment, and ensuring system reliability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years direct experience in machinery repairs.
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems including 480V/240V/120V.
- Experience in PLC-based machinery repair and automation robotics.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/German preferred.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide preventative measures for proper operation of equipment based on design specifications.
- Provide emergency breakdown and specialist engineering support.
- Install and calibrate automation equipment; analyze precision testing results.
- Provide engineering support for installation of conveyor and automation equipment.
- Coordinate with customer operations and maintain documentation and reporting.
