Job summary
KNAPP is seeking a Resident Maintenance Technician in the US to provide electrical and mechanical expertise, performing on-site repairs, troubleshooting, and calibration of precision automation equipment. You will work with a team to maximize equipment utilization while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
The role requires an associate degree in engineering or automation, up to 3 years' experience, and strong communication in a customer-facing setting.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Automation preferred.
- 0-3 years direct experience in repairs on machinery systems including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Theoretical and operational experience with PLC-based machinery, highly automated and robotic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide specialist maintenance.
- Respond to emergency calls on customer sites.
- Set up and calibrate precision automation equipment.
- Train customer maintenance teams as required.
- Maintain safety and quality procedures and documentation.
