Job summary

Integritus Healthcare in Massachusetts is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison for prospective residents and families, guiding them through tours, questions, and the application process.

You will coordinate the admission from referral to arrival, collaborate with clinical liaisons, facility leadership, and providers, and ensure timely collection of financial and medical records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in long-term care.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA, and long-term care admissions regulations.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for prospective residents and families, answering questions, conducting tours, and gathering information for applications.
• Coordinate admission from referral through arrival with clinical liaisons, facility leadership, and referring providers.
• Collect and review clinical and financial referral information, coordinating approvals within 15–30 minutes response timeframe.
• Obtain nursing management’s clinical approval before admission.
• Confirm insurance coverage and payment sources with Business Office and follow up on missing information.
• Complete admission paperwork with residents or designated representatives.
• Coordinate with nursing, rehabilitation, social services, dietary, and other departments to welcome and care for new residents.
• Ensure preadmission screenings and OBRA/PASRR requirements are completed.
• Maintain accurate admission records including advance directives and emergency contacts.
• Track referrals and provide monthly reports to the Administrator.
