Job summary

Integritus Healthcare in South Yarmouth, MA is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to serve as the primary contact for prospective residents and families, guiding them from referral to arrival. You will coordinate with clinical liaisons, nursing leadership, and the Business Office to gather information, obtain approvals, verify insurance, complete admission paperwork, and ensure OBRA/PASRR compliance.

A minimum of three years in long-term care is required; a high school diploma is required

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in long-term care.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA, and related long-term care regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple departments.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and accurate recordkeeping.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for residents and families; answer questions, conduct tours, and gather information to complete applications.
• Coordinate the admission process from referral through arrival with clinical liaisons, leadership, and referring providers.
• Review clinical and financial referral information and obtain approvals within the 15–30 minute target.
• Obtain nursing management’s clinical approval before admission.
• Confirm insurance coverage and payment sources with the Business Office and follow up on missing information.
• Complete admission paperwork with residents or representatives and coordinate with care departments to welcome new residents.
• Ensure preadmission screenings, OBRA and PASRR documentation are completed.
