Job summary

Bayer seeks an operations leader to oversee daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities for Hematology and Specialty Pharma in the US market. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across data, systems, pricing and government programs to ensure reliable supply and compliant service delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in pharma operations, strong SAP/ERP knowledge, and a proactive approach to readiness and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field with 5+ years of experience; or a Bachelor’s with equivalent experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration.
• Experience in regulated pharma environments and with serialized, specialty, temperature-sensitive, partner-managed, 3PL-supported, or contract-controlled supply models.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, customer and product master data, EDI/API interfaces, serialization/traceability, inventory and partner operations.
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical design across IT and business functions.
• Skilled in impact assessment, requirements gathering, dependency management, testing coordination, and readiness reporting.
• Strong cross-functional coordination, communication and stakeholder management across seniority levels.
• Forward-thinking approach to evolving customer solutions in a dynamic environment with interdependencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities, including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support.
• Maintain oversight of third-party operations and serve as escalation point for operational, customer, supply and billing issues.
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models, and act as SME for contracts, controls and audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on logistics and supply chain operations to develop tailored solutions for customers.
• Coordinate NDC-12 impact assessments and readiness activities across master data, SAP and system interfaces, serialization, pricing and government programs.
• Align cross-functional requirements with IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial and external partners.
• Lead integrated cluster plans, manage risks, decisions, dependencies, readiness metrics and escalation to PMO/leadership.
• Maintain alignment with industry discussions on NDC-12 and readiness approaches.
