Job summary

Bayer is seeking a highly experienced operations leader to oversee Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash for the Hematology and Specialty Pharma portfolio in the US market. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure compliant processes, and drive readiness across master data, SAP and interfaces.

Requirements include a Master’s degree with 5+ years in pharma operations, strong SAP/ERP knowledge, and a proactive approach to regulatory and compliance readiness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s with equivalent experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration.
• Experience working in regulated pharmaceutical environments with serialized, specialty, temperature-sensitive, partner‑managed, 3PL‑supported, or contract‑controlled supply models.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, customer and product master data, EDI/API interfaces, serialization or traceability, inventory and partner operations.
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical design across IT and business functions, by transferring complex regulatory, data and system requirements into practical operational, testing and readiness actions.
• Skilled in structured impact assessment, requirements gathering, dependency management, testing coordination, and readiness reporting.
• Strong cross‑functional coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills across various levels of seniority.
• A proactive, forward‑thinking approach to evolving customer solutions in a dynamic environment with complex interdependencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities, including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support. Maintain oversight of third-party operations at Accenture and serve as the escalation point for operational, customer, supply and billing issues;
