Job summary

Bayer is seeking a supply chain operations leader in the United States to oversee Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash for the Hematology and Specialty Pharma portfolio, ensuring reliable service and compliant operations.

The role drives NDC-12 readiness across master data, SAP interfaces, pricing, and government programs, working with IT, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Commercial teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, IS, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with equivalent relevant experience acceptable.
• Experience in regulated pharma environments with serialization/3PL models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities, including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support.
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models, and act as a subject-matter expert for contracts, operational controls and audit inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on logistics and supply chain operations to develop tailored solutions for customers. Cultivate and strengthen relationships with account managers, sales, finance, and marketing teams to enhance customer engagement.
• Coordinate NDC-12 impact assessments and readiness activities across master data, SAP and system interfaces, serialization, customer operations, pricing, contracting, government pricing and special programs.
• Align cross-functional requirements and standards, dependencies and controls with interfacing functions, such as IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Market Access, Legal, Compliance and external partners.
• Lead the integrated cluster plans and maintain project risks, decisions, dependencies, readiness metrics, documentation and escalation paths, providing transparent updates to PMO and leadership.
• Maintain alignment with industry discussions, e.g. at relevant trade associations, regarding NDC-12 implementation, ensuring Bayer's readiness approach reflects evolving external expectations and best practices.
