Job summary

Aqua Aston Hospitality (AAH) in Hawaii seeks a Reservations Agent to assist guests by phone, providing hotel information and processing reservations according to inventory and rate plans.

Daily duties include entering, confirming and modifying bookings in the hotel PMS, handling group lists, securing payments, and auditing arrivals. A High School diploma and at least 1 year in hospitality reservations are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hospitality reservations or similar.
• Proficient with hotel reservation systems and PMS.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and provide guests with hotel information and accommodations.
• Convert telephone inquiries into reservations and maintain performance statistics.
• Enter, confirm and modify telephone, facsimile and e-mail reservations.
• Assist with loading group rooming lists and securing final payments.
• Process deposits and perform reservations audits for arrivals.
