Job summary

Aqua Aston Hospitality (AAH) is seeking a Reservations Agent to handle telephone inquiries and convert them into confirmed hotel reservations. You will input and modify reservations in the PMS, ensuring accuracy and timely processing for guest satisfaction.

Requirements include 1+ years in hospitality reservations, basic computer skills, and strong communication. Training will cover hotel inventory, rate plans, and group bookings.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in hospitality reservations or related role.
• Proficient with hotel reservation systems and basic software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and provide guests with hotel information and accommodations.
• Enter, confirm and modify telephone reservations and group bookings as needed.
• Assist with individual and group reservations in the system and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with guests and vendors to address questions or concerns.

As a Reservations Agent, you will sell hotel rooms to prospective guests by providing over-the-phone information and assistance based upon hotel inventory and rate plan availability. Timely and accurate input of rooming lists into hotel PMS to contribute to guest satisfaction and accurate system reporting. Where great benefits lead to a life fulfilled.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and provide guests with hotel information and accommodations
• Convert telephone inquiries into reservations maintaining acceptable performance statistics.
• Enter, confirm and modify telephone, facsimile and e-mail reservations.
• Assist with individual and group reservations in the system.
• Address guest and vendor questions or concerns independently.
• Assist with loading group rooming lists, assigning rooms, specifying billing instructions and securing final payments in full prior to group arrival.
• Process advance deposits.
• Perform daily reservations audit for the next day’s arrivals.
• Process commissions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School degree/diploma or equivalent additional experience.
• 1 or more years of experience in hospitality reservations.
• Computer proficiency and ability to operate facsimile and copy machines.
