Job summary

Aaron’s is hiring a Customer Account Advisor to coach customers through payment collections and lease renewals, building strong relationships by phone and in-person visits. The role focuses on ensuring customers are satisfied and progressing toward ownership.

The position emphasizes timely lease renewals, effective communication, and a proactive approach to meeting daily and monthly revenue goals, with duties spanning customer service to operational support in-store.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old in the US with a valid driver’s license and comply with MVR requirements.
• DOT requirements must be met to obtain certification in required states.
• Ability to work a schedule varying from 8 am to 9 pm.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and up to 300 lbs. with a dolly.
• Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High energy with strong multitasking and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update customers’ accounts in the store computer system.
• Direct contact with customers who have not renewed leases via in-home visits and phone.
• Sell customers on the benefits of timely lease renewal payments.
• Assist the Customer Account Manager in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for returned items.
• Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets.
• Load, secure and protect product in the company vehicle.
• Safely operate the company vehicle.
• Assist the Sales Team as needed.
• Perform any reasonable duties requested by management.
