Job summary

The AES Corporation is seeking a Lead Technical Trainer to develop and manage a renewable training program for Solar, Wind, and Battery Technicians. You will support the Senior Manager of Technical Training, coordinating field and corporate training initiatives, and delivering content across remote and hands-on formats.

Ideal candidates have extensive PV field experience, strong communication skills, and a track record in curriculum development and SOP writing. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PV field operations experience and BESS knowledge.
• Experience building and delivering technical training to technicians.
• Ability to write SOPs and lead groups of experts.
• Strong communication for both remote and in-person training delivery.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and coordinate with OEM vendors.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager of Technical Training in executing the program vision.
• Lead content development for digital and in-person training.
• Collaborate with SMEs to curate and vet curriculum materials.
• Review and improve training content, ensuring up-to-date material.
• Coordinate with OEM vendors to align training with project needs.
• Manage OEM training across six regions and track completions.
