Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking a Lead Technical Trainer to develop and manage a renewable training program for Solar, Wind and Battery technicians. The role requires hands-on PV/O&M experience, strong communication, and travel readiness to deliver both remote and on-site training.

Responsibilities include front-end analysis, content development and coordinating with OEMs to improve training offerings across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of field experience in hands-on operations and maintenance of utility-scale PV or PV+BESS sites.
• Experience on 3+ utility-scale PV sites.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• 3+ years in technical training, peer-mentorship, and/or curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Manager of Training on executing the training program vision.
• Lead training content development in digital formats for virtual and in-person delivery.
• Develop and vet content with subject matter experts for curriculum development.
