AES Corporation is seeking a Lead Technical Trainer to develop and manage a renewable technical training program for Solar, Wind, and Battery technicians. This role supports the Senior Manager of Technical Training and coordinates training across field operations and corporate teams.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of PV/O&M hands-on experience, 3+ years in training or curriculum development, and 2+ years in a senior technician role. Travel up to 25% is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of field experience with utility-scale PV or PV+BESS sites.
• 3+ years in technical training, peer-mentorship, or curriculum development.
• 2+ years as a senior technician in PV/BESS O&M; wind or thermal optional.
• Experience with multiple PV sites and OEM/technical training coordination.

Responsabilités

• Support the Senior Manager of Training on executing the vision and program management.
• Lead training content development in digital and in-person formats.
• Collaborate with SMEs to curate curriculum and coordinate OEM training.
• Review and improve training materials, close gaps, and ensure repeatability.
• Lead train-the-trainer initiatives and drive training delivery across regions.
