Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking a Lead Technical Trainer to develop and manage a renewable training program for Solar/Wind/BESS technicians. You will collaborate with the Senior Manager of Technical Training to design, deliver, and continuously improve training across field operations and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of field operations and maintenance experience on utility-scale PV or PV+BESS sites.
• Experience on 3+ utility-scale PV sites and proficiency with central inverters and MV transformers.
• 3+ years in technical training, peer-mentorship, or curriculum development.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager of Technical Training in executing the Training Team's objectives.
• Lead training content development for digital formats, virtual and in-person.
• Review and improve training content with SMEs for curriculum development.
• Coordinate with OEM training vendors and manage multiple regional programs.
• Deliver remote and hands-on training to technicians and support field operations.
