Job summary

Humana, Inc. seeks a Workday Compensation Configuration Lead to partner with Compensation, HR, Finance, Payroll and Technology to design, configure, implement, and optimize scalable compensation solutions for the enterprise.

The role requires deep Workday Advanced Compensation expertise and 7+ years in HR technology, with responsibility for strategy, testing, implementation, and ongoing support, while mentoring teams and guiding governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR/IT/business fields.
7+ years HR technology or enterprise systems experience.
5+ years Workday configuration experience in Advanced Compensation.
Experience configuring compensation processes and salary structures.
Experience gathering requirements and translating needs into Workday solutions.
Experience leading testing (unit, SIT, UAT) and deployments.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, design, configuration, testing, and implementation of Workday Compensation solutions.
Own compensation-related processes: annual planning, merit, bonuses, salary structures, and one-time payments.
Advise senior leaders on governance, releases, and technology investments.
Drive automation and process optimization across Total Rewards.
Mentor configuration professionals and lead complex cross-functional projects.
