Job summary

Humana is seeking a Workday Compensation Configuration Principal to lead strategy, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Workday Compensation solutions. This is a temporary contractor role employed by Atrium and assigned to Humana, with remote EST work hours and an ASAP start for an 8-month assignment.

You will act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, mentor team members, drive automation and continuous improvement, and collaborate with HR,

Qualifications

• 10+ years HR technology or HRIS experience, including complex configuration.
• 5+ years hands-on Workday configuration experience with Advanced Compensation and HCM functionality.
• Experience configuring compensation processes: annual planning, merit increases, bonus programs, eligibility, salary structures, one-time payments.
• Experience gathering requirements, design, and translating needs into scalable Workday solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Workday Compensation solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders; drive automation and process optimization.
• Mentor configuration professionals and influence technology strategy within a large enterprise.
• Partner with Compensation, HR, Finance, Payroll, Technology and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide solutions.
