Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Workday Compensation Configuration Lead to partner with compensation, HR, finance, payroll and technology teams.

You will design, configure, implement and optimize scalable compensation solutions aligned with regulatory and business needs. You will drive strategy, governance, testing, and ongoing support of advanced Workday compensation modules, including annual planning, bonuses, eligibility, and salary structures.

Qualifications

7+ years of HR technology, HRIS, enterprise systems, or related experience with leading configuration initiatives.
5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with Advanced Compensation and related HCM functionality.
Experience configuring compensation processes: annual planning, merit, bonuses, eligibility, salary structures, one-time payments.
Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and translating needs into scalable Workday configs.
Experience leading testing: unit, SIT, UAT, release validation, production deployment.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, design, configuration, testing, implementation and ongoing support of Workday Compensation solutions.
Serve as the functional owner for compensation processes, advising senior leaders on governance and investments.
Partner with Compensation, HR, Finance, Payroll, and Technology to optimize enterprise compensation solutions.
Drive continuous improvement, automation, and optimization; evaluate new Workday functionality for value.
Mentor team members and influence technology strategy within a large, matrixed organization.
