SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a District Sales Manager for the West. The role translates regional strategy into disciplined execution, oversees forecast accuracy, and develops commercial talent to drive profitability.

Based in the Bay Area and supported by remote work, you will manage a district, own forecasting, build relationships with key customers, and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life science–related discipline or equivalent experience in technical sales, including high‑complexity capital equipment within life sciences.
• Demonstrated experience achieving or exceeding commercial targets in the life science capital equipment market.
• 5+ yrs experience leading individual contributors in a sales environment.
• Experience owning sales forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management at a district level.
• Demonstrated application of structured continuous improvement or business system methodologies
• Experience leading and operating effectively within a remote, geographically dispersed organization.

Responsabilités

• Deliver district orders, revenue, and margin through regional strategy.
• Own district forecasting rigor (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Develop and execute district growth plans using DBS methodologies, visual management, and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain senior‑level customer relationships and key opinion leader engagement across the West region.
• Assess competitive and market dynamics, identify growth opportunities and risks, and implement timely countermeasures.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders (Service, Finance, Sales Operations, HR, IT, Legal) to achieve business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and performance‑manage direct reports, enabling capability development, engagement, and succession readiness.
