Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, seeks a District Sales Manager – Mid‑Atlantic to drive orders, revenue and margin for the instrument portfolio across the region, reporting to the Sr Director of Sales. This remote role covers Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and New York.

You will forecast at district level, coach a team, and partner with Service, Finance, and HR to achieve growth. Experience in life sciences capital equipment, remote leadership, and continuous improvement are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science or equivalent with sales experience.
• 5+ years leading individual contributors in sales.
• Experience owning sales forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management.
• Experience in remote, geographically dispersed organizations.
• Demonstrated application of continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver district orders, revenue, and margin across the SCIEX instrument portfolio.
• Own district forecasting with weekly to quarterly commitments.
• Develop growth plans using DBS methodologies and KPIs.
• Build senior relationships with key opinion leaders in Mid Atlantic.
• Identify market opportunities and risks and implement countermeasures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Lead and coach direct reports to build capability and succession.
