Job summary

Affirm seeks a VP, People Business Partners & Employee Relations to lead Affirm's global PBP and ER functions. As part of the People Leadership Team, you will partner with the CPO and XLT to shape an enterprise-wide people strategy, talent decisions, and organizational capability at scale.

You will build and guide global PBP and ER teams, align workforce strategies with business priorities, and oversee sensitive investigations and executive matters.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive People leadership experience in global tech scale
• Experience leading a global PBP organization with high-performing teams
• Experience leading Employee Relations, including sensitive investigations and executive matters
• Proven partnership with C-suite, building trust with independent judgment
• Deep expertise in organizational consulting and strategic workforce planning
• Strong business acumen and learning agility to understand complex businesses

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and operating model for global PBP and ER functions
• Build high-performing PBP and ER teams with coaching and selective hiring
• Serve as strategic advisor to XLT and align on enterprise talent decisions
• Understand affirm's business and anticipate organizational implications
• Partner with XLT on workforce strategy and deployment of talent
• Lead leadership development, succession planning, and performance management
• Guide organizational change and ensure scalable ER practices
• Provide executive oversight on complex ER matters and investigations
• Identify risks from ER data and translate into proactive actions
• Collaborate with Legal on employment practices and risk management
