Parexel seeks a Vice President, Commercial Strategy, to drive growth and market positioning in a remote role. You will lead strategic opportunities, guide bid pursuits, and influence cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and technical groups to win high-value opportunities.

In this role, you’ll shape messaging, coach bid teams, analyze market dynamics, and help Parexel strengthen client relationships while accelerating revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in the CRO industry with client management and senior sales/operations background.
• Experience developing commercial messaging, RFIs, RFPs, and bid content.
• Proven leadership of global cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
• Strong understanding of CRO market, biopharma, and Parexel services.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid triage and evaluate opportunities for strategic fit with objectives.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to prioritize high-value opportunities.
• Coach bid teams on high-profile RFI/RFPs and compelling messaging.
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and operations to shape winning strategies.
• Prepare teams for client presentations and provide strategic positioning.
• Share lessons learned to improve commercial effectiveness and outcomes.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments impacting strategy.
• Represent Parexel at conferences and client engagements as needed.
• Drive internal initiatives to improve bid pursuit efficiency.
