Job summary
Parexel is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Strategy to drive growth and market positioning from a remote location in the United States. You will guide bid pursuits, analyze markets, and shape Parexel’s competitive messaging while collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, operations, and technical groups.
The role emphasizes industry insights, client relationship development, and business development from opportunity identification through award.
Qualifications
- 15+ years in the CRO industry with client management and senior sales/operations background.
- Experience developing commercial messaging including proposals, RFIs, sales materials, and bid content.
- Proven leadership of global cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with commercial tools including MS Office, Salesforce, and automation platforms.
- Strong understanding of commercial strategy messaging, data-driven methods, and selling with insight.
Responsibilities
- Participate in bid triage to evaluate opportunities and align with objectives.
- Conduct market/competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
- Coach bid teams on RFI/RFP opportunities and messaging.
- Collaborate with sales, technical, and operations to define client requirements and strategy.
- Prepare bid teams for client interactions with strategic positioning.
