Parexel is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Strategy to join our team in a remote capacity. You will drive new business growth and strategic market positioning by leading commercial strategy initiatives, analyzing market opportunities, and guiding high-impact bid pursuits across sales, operations, and technical teams.

This senior leadership role shapes Parexel's competitive positioning, strengthens client relationships, and accelerates revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in the CRO industry with client management and senior sales/operational roles.
• Experience developing commercial messaging including proposals, RFIs, and bid content.
• Proven global cross-functional team leadership.
• Proficiency with commercial tools and data-driven strategy.
• Strong knowledge of CRO industry, biopharma market and Parexel offerings.
• Insider understanding of medical terminology and ICH/GCP.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid triage to evaluate opportunities and strategic fit.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
• Coach bid teams on RFI/RFP with compelling sales messaging.
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and operations to define winning strategies.
• Prepare bid teams for client presentations with strategic positioning.
• Share lessons learned across the organization to improve win rates.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments affecting strategy.
• Engage in client pursuits to strengthen relationships and Parexel's presence.
