Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Client Relationship Director to drive commercial growth and build strategic relationships within assigned accounts in a remote capacity. You will support the Account Leader in developing the business vision and strategy, impacting profitability and global clinical research solutions.

You will lead bid strategy, deliver compelling proposals, and manage executive relationships to secure repeat business, expanding Parexel’s influence across services and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience in pharmaceutical services environment (CRO/Life Sciences) or consulting
• Ability to manage accounts, develop business strategy, and execute commercial initiatives
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support Account Leader in developing and executing account plans to drive growth and profitability
• Take direct responsibility for assigned accounts, including new business growth and contract negotiation
• Lead bid pursuit meetings and proposal strategy with cross-functional colleagues
• Develop compelling proposal narratives and executive summaries showing integrated solutions and ROI
• Identify client needs and craft consultative solutions leveraging Parexel's capabilities
• Maintain high visibility within client organizations and foster relationships with senior management
• Maintain knowledge of Parexel services to identify cross-selling opportunities
• Coordinate with delivery teams to transfer client expectations and ensure ongoing growth
• Monitor pricing strategies to win business while meeting financial targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SBU Delivery, Solutions Consultants, Sales Support, Finance, Legal)
