Job summary

Parexel invites a strategic, US-based leader to join as Vice President, Commercial Strategy in a remote capacity. Drive new business growth, market positioning, and winning bid pursuits by guiding cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and technical functions.

You will analyze market opportunities, coach bid teams, and shape client messaging to differentiate Parexel. The role leverages industry insights to accelerate revenue and expand relationships with biopharma partners.

Qualifications

15+ years in the CRO industry with client management and senior sales/operations experience.
Proven development of commercial messaging including proposals, RFIs, and bid content.
Experience leading global cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of commercial strategy, data-driven methodologies, and market positioning.

Responsibilities

Lead bid triage discussions and align pursuits with corporate objectives.
Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
Coach bid teams on RFI/RFPs to ensure competitive messaging.
Collaborate with sales, technical, and operations teams to define client requirements and strategies.
Prepare bid teams for client presentations and optimize competitive positioning.
Share lessons learned to continuously improve bid effectiveness and outcomes.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments impacting strategy.
Represent Parexel at industry conferences and events to enhance visibility.
