Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national property & casualty agency operations, drive workflow standardization, and partner with regional leadership to optimize performance across the organization. Fully remote preferred; candidates with a Central Time Zone footprint are encouraged.

Requires active P&C license, CPCU/CIC designation strongly preferred, and 5–7+ years of commercial lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency, with on-site

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of commercial lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Experience with workflow standardization and operational transformation.
• Experience with M&A integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leaders.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Standardize workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Plan workforce; assess capacity and demand for growth.
• Align managed services resources with organizational goals.
• Provide national subject-matter guidance on Commercial P&C operations.
• Support merger and acquisition integration from an operational perspective.
• Collaborate with producers, ops teams, and leadership to drive change.
• Promote EPIC, workflows, and reporting tool utilization.
• Analyze metrics to drive performance improvements.
• Lead change-management for new processes and practices.
