Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations for its Commercial Property & Casualty segment. Fully remote with preference for Central Time Zone hours.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large broker/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable improvements.
• Strong workforce planning and resource management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish and promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows and procedures.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity planning to support growth.
• Partner with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Serve as national Commercial P&C expert on operations and best practices.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and planning.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to drive implementation of initiatives.
• Promote effective use of EPIC, workflows, reporting tools, and tech platforms.
• Use metrics and BI to drive performance improvements.
• Lead change management across the organization.
• Maintain advanced industry and leadership expertise through development.
