Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations with a remote-capable role. You will partner with senior leaders to drive efficiency, standardize workflows, and support growth across our commercial lines practice.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership at a large broker, hold an active P&C license, and possess CPCU or CIC credentials.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a highly matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and practices.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and quality.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and workload to develop capacity plans.
• Coordinate with Managed Services to align resources.
• Provide national expert guidance on agency operations and systems.
• Support merger and acquisition integration with planning and alignment.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to drive adoption of initiatives.
• Promote EPIC, workflows, and reporting tools to improve performance.
• Use metrics and BI to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Lead change efforts and adopt new processes across the organization.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.
• Champion IOA values in all interactions.
