Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner (Provider) for a 6-month PRN contract. You will deliver telehealth care to patients aged 18 months and older, with focus on holistic, evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and management.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's in Family Nurse Practice with current national certification and unrestricted state licensure, and have at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted licensure in any US state/district.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
• Proficient with information management and technology.
• Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues to provide quality care.
• Language proficiency in Spanish may be required depending on market.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning for patients.
• Evaluate primary care, acute and chronically ill patients, plus health education and counseling.
• Provide patient counseling including contraception and STI prevention and safer sex practices.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to patient care inquiries.
• Document care within an EHR according to CVSH policies.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues to ensure high quality care.
