Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver holistic, evidence-based remote care for patients aged 18 months and up. The role requires an active NP license and national certification, with at least two years of relevant experience, and works within a collaborative, patient-centered team.

The position is a 6-month PRN contract with opportunities to extend, requiring 20+ hours per week and some weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted US state licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
• Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a remote care setting.
• Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision; proficient with information management tech.
• National Board Certification and State license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and disposition planning for patients aged 18 months and older.
• Evaluate primary, acute and chronic care patients and provide education and counseling.
• Counsel patients on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention and contraception management.
• Document all patient care in the EHR per policy.
• Collaborate with Providers, Physicians, pharmacists and care team members to ensure high-quality care.
