Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unrestricted NP license in any US state/district.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and practice independently.
• Proficiency with information management and technology.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues to provide quality care.
• Depending on market, proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning for patients aged 18 months and older.
• Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients; provide education and counseling.
• Provide pregnancy prevention and STI counseling, contraceptive care, and medication management.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
• Document all patient care in an EHR per MinuteClinic policies.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
• Work within a patient care team and advocate for patients and practice.
