Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Remote VFD Support Specialist in the United States to join the Motion Drive Products division.

You will provide technical support by phone and email, assist with drive programming and integration, and collaborate with engineering, field service and sales teams. Responsibilities include documenting cases in Salesforce, staying current with VFD technologies, and supporting warranty processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical/technical field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives required.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and email for VFD-related issues.
• Assist with drive programming, parameter configuration, and integration with control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales, and product teams to resolve issues.
• Coordinate warranty replacements and labor authorization with the warranty team.
• Document support cases and solutions using Salesforce Case Management.
• Stay current with VFD technologies and software updates.
