Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Support Specialist to deliver technical assistance to customers, field technicians, and internal teams.

You will troubleshoot, program drives, configure communications, and assist with warranty processes from a remote US location within the Motion Drive Products division. You'll collaborate with engineering, service, sales and product teams, maintain case documentation in Salesforce, stay current with VFD tech, and help customers optimize

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in Electrical/Technical fields.
Ability to troubleshoot VFDs and electrical principles.
Strong English communication, verbal and written.
US work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

Provide phone and email technical support for Low Voltage VFDs.
Assist with drive programming, parameter configuration, and control integration.
Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales and product teams.
Coordinate warranty replacements and labor authorizations.
Maintain detailed documentation of cases and solutions in Salesforce.
Stay current with VFD technologies, software updates and trends.
