Fortuna Business Management Consulting seeks a medical scheduling professional to support Veterans through the VA examination process. This remote role emphasizes compassionate, organized service in a high-volume, KPI-driven environment.

You will coordinate appointments, conduct outreach, resolve scheduling issues, and provide timely, professional support throughout the examination process, while adhering to privacy and security standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in healthcare scheduling or related operational role.
• Experience handling high-volume calls and complex scheduling workflows.
• Strong verbal and written communication with Veterans, clinic staff, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with KPIs.

Responsabilités

• Review scheduling requests, medical records, and service records to determine readiness.
• Submit and track clarification requests with the VA and manage cases to completion.
• Coordinate with claimants and staff to schedule appointments and ensure documentation is timely.
• Maintain detailed case documentation while handling sensitive information.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and support efficient case processing.
• Serve as a point of contact for assigned clinics to ensure coordination.
• Support workflows, mentor teammates, and contribute to process improvements.
• Meet productivity, quality, and timeliness metrics in a structured environment.
• Adapt to evolving technologies and AI/automation used in the program.
