Job summary

CLF Consultants LLC is hiring entry-level Medical Support Assistants to support the VA VISN 19 Office of Community Care. This fully remote role lets you work from home while serving Veterans and families across the VISN 19 region.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of customer service experience. Onboarding covers federal cybersecurity, VistA/CPRS training, HIPAA compliance, and scheduling protocols.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience or more.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficiency in English, speaking and writing.
• Typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
• Ability to pass federal background check (NACI).

Responsibilities

• Schedule Veterans' appointments for primary care, specialty clinics, and community care.
• Verify and update patient demographics and contact information per standards.
• Document interactions in CPRS and VistA, maintaining accuracy.
• Coordinate with Lead Scheduler and care teams, escalate issues.
• Provide professional, empathetic customer service by phone and secure channels.
