Job summary

EK Health Services Inc. seeks an Index-Intake Coordinator to prepare electronic medical case files for HCPs and to manage UR referrals from indexing to intake. The role requires accurate data entry, strong communication, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The position is non-exempt, Monday–Friday with PST schedule, and offers medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, holidays, and a monthly internet stipend. Remote work option available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Professional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Email, and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Scan, index, label case documents into appropriate files.
• Process referrals with deadlines and send reviews to HCPs.
• Data entry for intake and UR referrals; assist with overflow tasks.
• Answer calls with professional telephone etiquette.
• Collaborate with nurses, insurance adjusters, and medical staff.
• Handle routine inquiries and route complex requests appropriately.
