Job summary

EK Health Services is seeking an Index Intake Coordinator for a fully remote position. You will handle indexing and intake for Utilization Review referrals, preparing electronic case files for healthcare professionals.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and computer skills, with the ability to transition between indexing and intake tasks. The position is Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm PST, with pay ranging $16-$17 per hour DOE, plus benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401K, PTO

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Excellent written and oral communication; professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and computer literacy.
• Basic medical terminology and clerical abilities.
• Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Index, upload, label case documents into digital files.
• Sort and organize hard and soft copy medical records.
• Process UR referrals and manage intake to HCP assignment.
• Handle routine inquiries with professional telephone etiquette.
• Support nurses, insurance adjusters, and medical staff as needed.
• Data entry of UR referrals and case assignments in EK Health software.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
