Job summary

EK Health Services Inc. is seeking an Index-Intake Coordinator to prepare electronic medical case files for healthcare professionals. The role involves scanning, indexing, labeling, and uploading records to the proper case management system.

It requires careful data entry, organization, and professional telephone etiquette. This is a remote, non-exempt position with 8:30 AM–5:30 PM PST hours, and a pay range of $16–$17 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Professional demeanor with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort with computer programs including MS Word, MS Excel, email and internet.
• Basic medical terminology and clerical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Scan, index, label and upload case documents into the correct files.
• Sort hard and soft copy medical records and maintain organization.
• Process referrals with deadlines and route to healthcare professionals.
• Enter data into EK Health Services software and assign cases.
• Answer calls professionally and assist with inquiries.
