Job summary

EK Health Services Inc. is seeking an Index-Intake Coordinator to pre-open and prepare electronic medical case files for HCPs, while also handling end-to-end UR referral processing. The role requires switching between indexing and intake, performing data entry, and supporting staff with overflow tasks.

You will work non-exempt, eight hours per day, Monday through Friday, with remote work options and HIPAA-aware procedures. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, Email and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare electronic medical case files for Healthcare Professionals.
• Index, label, sort and upload medical records to the correct case files.
• Process Utilization Review referrals from indexing to HCP assignment.
• Assist with overflow tasks such as data entry and word processing.
• Answer calls professionally and maintain HIPAA compliant practices.
