EK Health Services Inc. is seeking an Index-Intake Coordinator to support pre-opening and preparing electronic medical case files for Healthcare Professionals. This role blends indexing and intake responsibilities, handling scanning, labeling, and data entry to support Utilization Review workflows.

The position is non-exempt, 8-hour days, Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM PST, with remote work options. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organization, and computer skills to manage fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, email, and internet research.
• Accurate, efficient, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Scan, label, and upload case documents into the correct files.
• Sort hard and soft copy medical records.
• Process referrals with deadlines and route reviews to HCPs.
• Enter UR referrals into EK Health Services software and assign cases.
• Provide data entry and assist with overflow tasks as needed.
• Answer calls professionally and assist callers.
• Coordinate with nurses and insurance adjusters as needed.
