Job summary

ABB Installation Products Division is seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Support professional to manage order entry, tracking, and order management across local units and ABB groups. The role emphasizes coordinating input for bid proposals and maintaining on-time delivery while adapting to shifting priorities.

The ideal candidate brings a technical background in engineering or business, at least 3 years of technical customer support, and experience with B2B support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of technical customer support experience in the Industrial, Utility or related fields.
• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred.
• Previous experience with business to business customer support preferred.
• Must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer databases; empower experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily customer activities including order entry, tracking and order management with local business units and other ABB groups.
• Coordinate input from local business units and other ABB groups to ensure bid proposals meet customer requirements.
• Simultaneously process information on multiple projects and respond effectively to changes in priorities.
• Attend meetings to exchange information and analyze contract requirements.
• Investigate technical problems and establish procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrences.
