Job summary

ABB's Services Inside Sales Specialist role offers a pathway to influence revenue growth by interfacing with customers and coordinating with cross-functional teams in a remote–California work environment. You will handle quotations, proposals, and order management, while nurturing strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years in proposal or sales support, plus knowledge of power transmission and distribution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2 years relevant experience, or HS Diploma with 5+ years.
• Experience in proposal or quote development, sales support, or order administration.
• Knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems.
• Experience in business-to-business customer support preferred.
• Engineering or technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships by understanding needs and providing responsive support.
• Support the sales process through lead follow-up, qualification, quotations, proposals, and order management.
• Develop standard and configured-to-order proposals, coordinating pricing and technical requirements with factory, engineering, and commercial teams.
• Drive opportunities through the sales cycle, supporting order closure, customer account setup, and seamless handoff to operations.
• Partner across sales and ABB organizations to strengthen relationships and share market insights.
