Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of technical customer support experience in the Industrial/Utility sector or equivalent.
• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred.
• Previous B2B customer support experience preferred.
• Experience with databases; Empower experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily customer activities including order entry, tracking, and order management.
• Coordinate with local business units to track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate input to ensure bid proposals meet customer requirements.
• Handle multiple projects and respond to changing priorities.
• Attend meetings to discuss contract requirements and resolve issues.
• Investigate technical problems and define corrective actions.
• May travel domestically to customer locations or ABB sites.
• Initiate change orders and expedite overdue invoices.
• Periodic customer reporting for outstanding orders and inventory management.
