Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of technical customer support experience in Industrial/Utility or related fields.
• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred.
• Experience with business-to-business customer support.
• Knowledge of computer databases; Empower experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily customer activities including order entry, tracking and order management.
• Coordinate with local business units to ensure on-time delivery and accurate bid proposals.
• Support activities at agent accounts and respond to changes in priorities.
• Attend meetings to exchange information and analyze contract requirements.
• Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
• Duties may require domestic travel to customer locations or ABB sites.
• Initiate change orders and expedite collection of overdue invoices.
