Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional for a remote US position. You will handle order entry, tracking, and order management with local units and ABB groups, while supporting agent accounts as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, business, or related field and 5+ years of technical customer support experience in industrial/utility contexts, with knowledge of power transmission and distribution products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of technical customer support experience in industrial, utility or related fields.
• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred.
• Previous experience with business-to-business customer support preferred.
• Knowledge of computer databases; Empower experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ABB's product configuration tools, orders, and business systems.
• Coordinate with local units to track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate inputs from ABB groups to ensure bid proposals meet customer needs.
• Process information for multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attend meetings to exchange information and analyze contract requirements.
• Initiate change orders and expedite collection of overdue invoices; occasional travel.
