Job summary

ABB is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional located in the United States to handle daily order entry, tracking, and order management with local units and ABB groups. The role will expand to support activities at agent accounts, with potential domestic travel and coordination across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of technical customer support experience in Industrial/Utility or related fields.
• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred.
• Previous experience with business to business customer support preferred.
• Must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer databases; empower experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily customer activities including order entry, tracking and order management with local units and ABB groups.
• Expand to support activities at agent accounts.
• Coordinate activities with local business units to track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Input bid proposals to meet customer requirements and analyze contract needs.
• Handle multiple projects and adapt to priority changes; attend meetings for information exchange.
• Assist in investigating technical problems and establish corrective actions; may travel domestically.
